Narain Karthikeyan
Narain
Karthikeyan is the first Indian
and second Asian
to participate in the Formula I championship and
be on the winning list. He
is from Coimbatore, India.
Childhood
Narain
was born on 14 January 1977, and started driving at the age of 16.
His father G.R. Karthikeyan encouraged Narain to race at a very
young age. He already had a great reputation in the sport. At the
age of 16, Narain attended the Winfield
Racing School in France and showed immediate talent.
He has improved a lot over the years and is all geared up to achieve
the F1 racing driver distinctions.
