About Lance Armstrong

Lance Armstrong was born on September 1917 in Plano, Texas. His father left him and his Mom and she raised him alone.

Career

He began his career as a tri athlete when he was 16. When he was 17, he received an invitation to the Junior National Cycling Team. In the Sydney Olympic Games he won a bronze medal. He finished 14th in the 1992 Olympics road race and turned professional. At 1993 he scored first in the rode solo in the World Road Championships in Oslo, Norway. Also, in 1993 he won 8th of the Tour De France. In 1999 he scored first at the first time in the Tour De France. From then, he won the Tour De France every year. He won the Tour De France competition seven times.
