My personal hero is my uncle. He works on Broadway as a set designer. I admire him because sometimes his shows get bad reviews but he keeps on going even if he gets criticized for doing a bad job on the sets.

He has worked on a few very major shows like the the Jecklin Hide club and others. When he visits Chicago it makes me happy because we meet up with him and go to dinner and sometimes he will stay at our house.

He is fun to talk with because he knows so many famous people and sometimes I get to meet them! I can't wait until the next time he comes to Chicago.

I admire him because he does something he likes and is happy. Without people like him being determined to become set designers we would have people who aren't good at it and the shows would have great actors but terrible sets. Imagine Romeo and Juliet where the balcony broke!
